Meghan: Why don't we have juice?
Me: You don't let us have juice.
Meghan: There's lots of sugar in juice.
Me: There's lots of sugar in lots of things.
Meghan: But why have juice when you don't need it?
Me: But sometimes you just want juice.
Meghan: Why don't we have any juice?
