Pure Evil, Pedroi-whore and more

Not going down the Cape the past weekend or so has really messed me up... late nights and afternoon relaxing in the back yard are prime blogging times. Ah well, I'll be back soon. I wonder if a 6 week old knows the difference between a stressful week and a relaxing weekend? Hopefully.

One thing that has been keeping my occupied: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010. AKA the disc of divorce. Meghan claims that the character I created looks more like Obama than it does me... which is kind of weird. But I do have to agree, it looks NOTHING like me. The Wii is not exceptionally great at making a good me. But the game itself is really fun.
This however is not fun. It is pure hell. And yes, I want to go on vacation there to give it a shot. (Just let the pics scroll for a few seconds. Now THAT is a golf course.)

I made this tonight. It was good, but I'm pretty sure I managed to burn the garlic. Or at least brown it a little too much. As Meghan noted, that was two home-made dinners in a row that I made. And I'm pretty sure my heart would have been better off with this.

Random note, but I'm pretty sure no one has made more money selling themselves since Pretty Woman. Radio, TV, whatever, all I hear is Dustin Pedroia hawking, well, everything. MLB Baseball on the Playstation. Dunkin Donuts. Sullivan Tire. Salem Five Bank. SALEM FIVE BANK? Dustin, I'm pretty sure after the liberties she let you take with her, you owe your MVP trophy a call the next morning.

New link (at least from me) - textsfromlastnight.com. Completely wrong. Don't show your mother or your local clergy person. Keep those rules in mind and enjoy. And yes, I know its been around for a good 5 months, don't blame me for being late to the party. I've still managed to introduce a couple of people to it, so I wasn't the LAST to know about it.

Of course, I'm pretty sure I was the last person to know about Colbert in Iraq... THAT was hilarious. And the guest editorship of Newsweek was well worth a years subscription alone. Check it out on Hulu if you didn't see it last week.

We're counting down at this point people, I don't know what number to start at, but 0:00 is approaching soon. Expect fewer posts before more posts... and by more, I do mean bleary eyed 3 am rants.
